It’s a new month and I’m excited to say that we have just had confirmation of another shipment of Rolife arriving soon!
If you haven’t experienced Rolife before, they are beautiful wooden DIY kits that you build yourself, with everything from miniature houses and book nooks to flowers and tiny shops. Many of them light up, some even make sound, and they’re the perfect gift for yourself or anyone who loves spending some quiet time working on something.
We all love them here at Hero HQ, so of course we’ve expanded our range even more! This time we have new miniature houses, book nooks, adorable little shops, wooden flower kits and plenty more on the way. We’re also introducing ROKR for the first time, another Robotime range that takes DIY building in a much more mechanical direction.
There is A LOT coming, so I’ve picked out some of the new additions I’m most excited about to give you a little look at what’s on the way.
Bigger, Even More Detailed Miniature Houses 🏡
We’re also adding some gorgeous new sets from Rolife’s Advanced Miniature House range. These are a step up from some of the smaller Rolife kits, with more pieces, longer build times and so many tiny details to put together.
Sunlit Farmhouse Kitchen and Oxygen Oasis are probably the two that immediately give me those fresh spring vibes. Sunlit Farmhouse Kitchen is a beautiful, cosy country kitchen filled with plants and little details, while Oxygen Oasis is an absolute dream for anyone who loves greenery. Oxygen Oasis has over 1,000 pieces and an assembly time of around 36 hours 😱 So most definitely a weekend project... or maybe a few weekends!
Then we have Pagestory Books, which of course immediately caught my attention. It’s a gorgeous little bookshop packed with shelves, books and cosy corners, and I can already imagine how good this one will look sitting alongside a bookshelf.
Leafree Café gives us another cosy little space to build, this time centred around a leafy café filled with plenty of little details to discover.
I love how different these sets are. Whether you’d rather build a bookshop, café, kitchen or your own little plant-filled oasis, there’s something in this range for everyone.
Even More Book Nooks 📚
Of course, we couldn’t bring in more Rolife without adding some new book nooks, and there are already a few I have my eye on.
One of the new additions is Treasure Toy Shop, which is pure nostalgia. It’s packed with colourful toys and tiny details that make it feel like an old-fashioned toy shop, and I have a feeling this one is going to be really fun to put together.
It's amazing how Rolife manages to make every book nook feel like its own tiny world. There are always so many little details to discover while you’re building them, and once they’re finished, they look gorgeous tucked between your books.
A Little Something Sweet 🍦
We’re also bringing in some smaller Rolife kits that are ridiculously cute. Fluffy Cat Bakery is an adorable little bakery filled with cats and sweet treats, while Sweet Scoopery Ice Cream gives you a colourful little ice cream shop to build.
There’s also Daily Fresh Flower, a tiny flower shop packed with blooms, and Old Times Bookstore, which of course is one that immediately caught my attention. I love these smaller scenes because you still get all those tiny Rolife details, but they’re a great option if you’re not quite ready to commit to one of the huge builds.
Tiny Shops, Big Details 🏪
We also have some adorable little shops coming that I think are going to be so much fun to build. Nostalgic Corner Shop has that charming old-fashioned feel with all the tiny details you’d expect to find tucked away in a little neighbourhood store.
Then there’s Joy Toys, a colourful little toy shop that immediately caught my attention, and Fluffy Bakery, which combines two things that are very hard for me to resist: cute animals and baked goods! These are such fun little scenes and I love that each one has its own completely different personality.
Flowers That Last Forever 💐
I am obsessed with some of the flower kits we’re bringing in! There’s actually a lot more variety in this range than I first realised, from bouquets and flower baskets to floral displays and even miniature works of art.
The Wooden Flower Bouquet is a beautiful bunch of flowers you can build and display, while the Bloom Box and Flower Basket turn the flowers into their own little arrangements. I also love the Blooming Book, which combines flowers with a book-shaped display and is probably one of the first ones I’d choose for myself.
Then there are the art-inspired kits, which I think are such a cool idea. The collection includes Glittering Water Lily, Golden Sunflower, The Starry Night and Red Boats, turning famous works of art into little wooden creations you can build and display.
I think these are such a lovely alternative when you want to give someone flowers but want something a little more special and lasting. You get the fun of building them, they’ll never wilt, and you end up with something beautiful to display afterwards. I have a feeling I’ll be gifting these quite a bit!
And Something Completely New: Introducing ROKR ⚙️
ROKR is definitely a new one for us, and I’m very excited about these! ROKR is another Robotime brand, like Rolife, but with much more of a focus on mechanics, gears and movement. Many of the kits use clever mechanical systems to move or create music, so you get to see how everything works as you put them together.
We’re starting with quite a big range too! There are some really whimsical builds like the Dream Gift Factory, Dream Coffee Factory and Happyduke Toys, which combine that miniature world feel we love with moving mechanical elements.
Then there are the musical kits, and I think these are going to be some of my favourites. We have the Magic Cello, Magic Harp and Magic Piano, along with the Diva Gramophone. They’re not just beautiful models to build and display, they bring music and movement into the finished creation too.
There are also some completely different builds coming, including the Romantic Carousel, Stage Coach and Cuckoo Clock, plus Starry Night, which gives us a really varied range to start with.
I think ROKR is going to be perfect for anyone who loves Rolife but wants something a little more mechanical and challenging, or anyone who is fascinated by seeing how things work. There’s something very satisfying about building all those tiny gears and mechanisms and then getting to watch your finished creation come to life!
There are so many beautiful new kits in this shipment and I genuinely don’t know which ones I’m most excited for. Between the new book nooks, flowers, and our first ROKR kits, I think my wishlist is about to get quite a bit longer!
